I'll admit, I felt nervous. Diving a wreck is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive** was fantastic. Their Divemasters provided a detailed safety briefing. We discussed safety protocols, the history of the sunken ship, and what to expect below. Being in such a small group immediately made me feel comfortable.

Descending was surreal. First, it was just a dark shape in the blue, then suddenly it appeared. It was huge. The ship is now a thriving artificial reef, draped in soft corals and swarming with marine life. I spotted big groupers hiding from inside the cargo hold, and lionfish hiding in the cracks. That feeling of gliding next to this silent, ghostly vessel is hard to describe—haunting, beautiful, and humbling all at once. It truly is a time capsule under the water.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) visiting Con Dao and looking for something beyond the standard reef, I cannot urge you this **Con Dao wreck dive** enough.
